PROJECT INFLUENCE is an innovative initiative organised by Bogepaul Charity aimed at engaging adolescents and youth, aged 14-20, in dance competitions to raise health awareness within the impoverished communities of Kampala's slums. Through the universal language of dance, we aim to inspire positive behavioral change, promote health education, and foster a sense of unity among the youth while addressing critical health challenges. This project will not only empower the participants but also contribute to a healthier and more informed youth population in these underserved areas.
Adolescents and youth in Kampala`s slum communities face significant challenges related to health awareness, including limited access to information and resources leading to preventable health issues. The lack of engaging and informative health programs hinders their ability to make informed choices about their well-being.
